University Bookstore

The University Bookstore has implemented sustainability initiatives throughout its stores. The monthly newsletter “Shelf Life” is produced on recycled paper and all new plastic bags are made of 100% recycled product. The store offers, for sale, school supplies composed of recycled paper, art supplies composed of recycled products, odorless turpentine substitutes and non-toxic paint brush cleaners. They also carry an assortment of short and long sleeved tee-shirts and hooded sweatshirts made of 100% organic cotton. All factories involved in producing the apparel adhere to the Fair Labor Standards that insure farmers are paid a fair price for their cotton.
