Recycling

Recycling is a hot topic at the University. Presently the University recycles batteries, paper, metals, plastics, solvents, paints, ink and toner cartridges, fluorescent lamps, sawdust, pallets, tires, televisions, printers, computers and other electronic items, and landscape material from pruning and weeding. Food Services recycle all corrugated cardboard, office paper, cans, and plastics. They also have a composting program that includes all pre-consumed vegetable items. Used fryer oil and kitchen grease is provided to ESF for Bio-diesel production for fuel in diesel trucks. Baker Commodities pays to pick up any used oil and grease that ESF is unable to use.
